Message from Jo at Jolly Olly’s

Saturday (4 July) is drawing close and we have been working hard to make sure that we have policies and procedures in place in line with government guidance. However, in order to adhere to the rules, whilst providing a jolly and efficient service for you, we have obviously had to make some changes. Changes include: increasing the number of staff who will be serving you, decreasing the seating and re-organising the way in which we carry out customer orders, reducing the menu and altering some cleaning procedures and safe practices. When you arrive at Jolly Olly’s there will be a board outside to help you to know what to do. You will be asked to wait outside for a staff member to greet you and welcome you inside. Once inside the staff members will help you to follow safe practices and there will be signage in the shop to support you as well.

Now…answers to some questions we think you may have…

At this time, we will not be taking bookings or reserving tables.

We will still be carrying out Take Away Orders, these can be made over the telephone, if you prefer, but please be patient as our increased work load means that it may not be easy for us to answer the phone straight away

The maximum number of people at one table inside is 4. The maximum number of people outside is 6 (all adhering to the social contact rules)

At this time we are unable to accommodate large groups of cyclists or walkers, our Saturday Knitting Group or Friendship Club

We will not be selling or collecting donations of puzzles and books for the time being.

It is going to be different for all of us and we ask for your patience as we learn to work in new ways. As ever, we will endeavour to provide the best quality service and deliver it with a smile! We look forward to seeing you soon.
